Basic Product Training

This course is designed for those who are new to the gas compressor industry. Classroom training covers the major compressor components and systems, compression theory, routine compressor maintenance intervals, PT and PV diagrams, sizing, valves, capacity control devices, rod load reversal, troubleshooting, packing and piston rings, shaft alignment, bolting, lubrication, forces and couples; also, an introduction of rotary screw compressors. Students will spend time touring our manufacturing facilities and on the assembly floor learning the relationship of compressor parts.

All materials are provided. The Basic Product Training course is a pre-requisite for attending the Compressor Mechanics School. Ariel product training is available exclusively for Ariel customers and their employees--Ariel Distributors, Ariel Packagers, and Ariel End Users Training who own, lease and service Ariel equipment. Ariel Corporation does not charge a fee for training held at our manufacturing facility in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Class is limited to 30 students.

This course runs four days, Monday – Thursday 8 am-5 pm ET. To receive Ariel's "Certificate of Participation" students must attend the full four-day session. Course dates are subject to change.
