ISO 9001:2008 Certification

Ariel is certified to the ISO 9001:2008 Standard. The standard emphasizes product quality, customer satisfaction, and process control criteria -- how to define and measure the most critical processes in order to discover and determine the parameters for success, and how to measure that success. This will enable the management team to determine what course of action to take when planning for Ariel’s future. The most common strength in ISO is that it is a common language, an acceptable framework that everyone in the marketplace understands. It is good for our business, because it shows we have a consistent quality system with a method towards continuous improvement.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a worldwide federation of 111 national standards bodies. The organization’s primary objective is to promote the development of manufacturing, trade, and communication among business organizations worldwide through the development of established standards.

Ariel’s registration provides objective proof we have implemented an effective quality system that satisfies all requirements of the applicable standard. An external and impartial ISO Registrar conducts on-site audits to evaluate our quality management system. Ariel has proudly held ISO Certification since January 1995.
